The case presented involved a 9 year old girl who was extremely fearful of seeing the dentist. She had an infected and abscessed molar that had been present for a long time. The infection had melted away the root tips of her teeth along with some of the surrounding bone.
Dr. Dahman scheduled and completed a root canal treatment under IV sedation in his office.
Careful attention was given to fill the roots without allowing the material to escape through her melted root tips. The result is dental work that borders on artwork.
