Dr. Mo Dahman
Being a lifelong learner has afforded me Fellowship status from the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction only 7% of US dentists hold.
Hello, I'm Dr. Mo Dahman. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University in California and a Master of Science in Oral Sciences from SUNY Buffalo. I’ve logged well over 1,000 hours of continuing education across implantology, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, neuromuscular occlusion, and full-arch reconstruction — because I believe my patients deserve a dentist who is genuinely current, not just credentialed. That commitment earned me Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction held by fewer than 7% of dentists in the country.
But credentials only tell part of the story.
What I hear most from my patients — many of whom found me after frustrating experiences elsewhere, some after being told they needed expensive work they didn’t actually need — is that they finally found a dentist they can trust. I don’t recommend treatment you don’t need. I explain what I see, walk you through your real options, and we decide together what makes sense for your situation. No pressure. No unnecessary work. My goal is to do the right thing by you, even when that means doing less.
I’ve spent my career developing the range to keep more of your care in one place. From complex implant cases and full-mouth rehabilitations to Invisalign, veneers, sedation dentistry, and specialist-level endodontics — I want to spare you the hassle, cost, and anxiety of constant referrals. I take pride in precision: crowns that fit right the first time, injections you can’t feel, procedures so comfortable that patients have fallen asleep during root canals. Dentistry doesn’t have to be what you think it is.
I’m also proud that people drive an hour — sometimes more — to stay patients here, and that we make time for emergencies even for people who aren’t yet in our practice. When you need us, we show up.
I’ve called Northern Virginia home for 13 years, and Great Falls has been my community for the past 9. My wife Hania and I are raising our three kids here. This isn’t just a business to me — it’s a relationship with the people who trust me with their smiles.
Outside the office, you’ll find me exploring new cuisines, slowly learning Japanese, hitting the tennis courts with my instructor, or chasing my kids on a bike trail. I love learning new things in and out of dentistry — and I find that curiosity makes me a better listener and a better doctor.
I’d love to meet you.
Great Care. Great Smiles.
Take your next step towards a healthier smile.
